Just some Alabama folks who see the danger in yet another elitist attempt to get us all to "see the light," as they did with THE LOTTERY ISSUE and a myriad of others. We are also a few people who dare to question the "conventional wisdom" being spoon-fed to us that Alabama simply will not be able to function without a new constitution that will incidentally lead to higher taxes. We do not categorically oppose a rewrite. We do categorically oppose the dishonest efforts to rewrite the Constitution of 1901 in order to slip in higher taxes and a further loss of our freedoms "through the back door."
